1. There are three modes of a VB Program:

  1. Design Mode: It is used to design an interface and write the code for it.
  2. Run Mode: It is used to view the code execution of a VB application.
  3. Break Mode: It is used to halt the execution so as to remove errors from the developed application.

2. E-commerce can be classified into the following three categories-

    1. Business-to-Business (B2B) - B2B e-commerce refers to the companies selling their goods and services to other companies.
    2. Business-to-Consumer (B2C) – In B2C, the parties involved is Business Firm & Customers.
    3. Consumer-to-Consumer (C2C) - C2C e-commerce refers to the auction sites where an individual can list an item for sale and other individuals can bid to purchase it.

3) There are three modes of communication, which are discussed as follows:

(1) Simplex: In the simplex mode, the data transmission can take place only in one direction, i.e., from source to destination, like television broadcasting.

(2) Half-duplex: In the half-duplex mode, the data transmission can take place in both the directions, but only in one direction at a time. For example, a walkie-talkie is a half-duplex device because only one party can talk at a time.

(3) Full-duplex: In the full duplex mode, the data transmission can take place in both the directions simultaneously. For example, a telephone set in which both the users can talk and listen at the same time

4) Once you have finished with a drawing, you should convert it to a reusable graphic symbol.

  • Add the fields to the query by double-clicking on the field name and specify the query criteria.
  • Click on the Save button, the Save As dialog box will open. Specify the name of the query and click on OK.
  • The query will appear in the left window.

2) Following are the advantages of networking:

  1. Efficient use of storage media – Through networking, we make efficient use of storage media by sharing resources on the network.
  2. Preserving of information – Networking makes it possible to preserve information in the form of backup on a central location.
