Ans.Three features of the Great Lakes – St. Lawrence Seaway are:

(i) The Great Lakes of North America – Superior, Huron, Erie, Ontario are connected by Soo and Welland Canals to form an inland waterway.

(ii) The estuary of St. Lawrence River, along with the Great Lakes forms a unique commercial waterway in the Northern Part of North America.

(iii) All the ports on this route are well equipped with all facilities of ocean ports.
